Fishing Report

Flat calm and beautiful today,plenty of life on the bottom.No lack of fish chewing but the short fish in the 14 ro 15 inch range were jumping on the baits. So we had alot of throwbacks. Not as many keepers as i would have liked to see..Anyway,Friday looks very nice,so does the weekend so see ya then.

Nice day,warmer amd no wind like yesterday .Had some decent life with shorts,,,caught quite a few amd some keepers mixed in but could have been better keeper wise. Either way a nice day woth some great guys as usual! No fishing tomorrow,,,,we will start again Thursday morning Merry Christmas everyone My family appreciates you and all you do for the Oceam Explorer! Looking forward to seeing you all onboard soon.

We made it out with a very light crowd today,,and it was brutal…Especailly early,,the wind was cranking and made it tough to feel the bites…Had handful of keepers and some shorts but overall a tough day..The wind is dropping out tonight and its actually gonna be a nice day tomorrow..So game plan is probably plan on fishing deeper so pack those extra sinkers….We are Jumbo hunting!! Come on down!

Crummy day here at the shore…I dont like the forecast high winds for Saturday along with snow so we are canceling our trip for Saturday.Sunday looks much nicer so we will fish Sunday..Its gonna be cold Sunday morning so dress warm…See ya Sunday!

Friday not looking good..Northeast winds gonna get up and we are gonna cancel..So stay tuned,,,next good day looks like Sunday..Its gonna be cold Sunday but the ocean is gonna be nice…Will update you tomorrow…

Extremely calm out there today,just a lazy swell….It actually made it tough to keep the boat still at times…But we had life,,,fair amount of shorts coming up on most spots…Some keeper mixed in with high hook having 4 keepers,,some had the curse or maybe 1 keeper,,but enough to keep you interested throughout the day…Nice day out with great people as usual…We are looking good for tomorrow with Northwest winds so we are fishing! I will be running a 100/100 Tog tournament on December 29th on my other vessel the SS Miss Belmar…630am departure,430 return..Its 100 for boat and 100 for the pool.5o persons on board…heaviest blackfish takes all but we are also gonna run some other pools as well that are not required to enter as well..Full galley on board to if you dont want to cook….You must text me,848 565 0519 to get on list…Its gonna be awesome!! If you dont want to go on tournament this day the ocean explorer will be running its normal times so you can go on there…Thanks..I will keep you updated here….

We were greeted with a nice ground swell as was expected this morning,but not rough.We also had life right away with shorts coming up pretty quick.Just not as many bites as we have been seeing…Few other drops we did had zero life,,so some did and some didnt…Jimmy had 3 keepers and the pool with some other keepers caught as well for a light crowd but overall it was slow keeper wise today….Swell was dropping out and Wednesday looks very nice so see ya tomorrow!!

Tuesday is looking good enough to fish,,gonna be warm and I think they are gonna chew,,plus we got guys who want to fish so we are fishing…So see ya for coffee….

Nice day overall,,started getting a little lumpy later in the day but for the most part it was nice.Good life again,,most drops but 1 had decent amount of life.Some guys were dialed in,some were not…Some got into keepers but some only had shorts…Check out some pics…Monday is canceled,,so maybe tuesday or wednesday is the next good day..Will update you tomorrow….
