Update from the shipyard is work,work,work getting done…We are proud to announce that our new engines built by Scania power of Sweden are here and we are in the process of repowering the ocean explorer…It is tough to watch our old Detroit engines come out..They have been so reliable and my god did we catch some fish with them..What a great run these motors have had..They were put in about 1978 and rebuilt many times but now its time for new Tier 3 engines that will burn less fuel and have way less exhaust..Plus the boat will be much faster as well…I will keep you updated but we are going to start fishing on April 1st for our spring blackfish run…Also expect some Codfish to be in the mix as they usually are in the spring…So I look forward to April 1st and getting back onto the ocean!
